Aligned Movement (NAM)
When
the people of India gave Constitution to themselves the aim and object
was to constitute India into a sovereign democratic Republic and secure
to each citizen justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. Ultimate aim
of the makers of the Constitution was to have a welfare State and egalitarian
society projecting the aims and aspirations of the people of India who
made the extreme sacrifice for attainment of the country’s freedom. Thousands
of people have laid their lives in the freedom movement of India. Lakhs
of people have suffered imprisonment to achieve the sovereignty for the
people of this country.
